where the points go
six things that decide
the score
anatomy and physiology carries the most
the science section is the heaviest and a&p is the bulk of it. it is also the most learnable, which makes it the best place to spend time.
the maths is applied, not abstract
ratios, conversions, dosage-style reasoning. the arithmetic is simple and the setup is where mistakes happen.
reading is inference
the passages are ordinary. the questions are about what follows from them, which is a different skill from understanding them.
english is a rulebook
grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary in context. finite, repetitive, and worth locking down early.
the threshold is set by your programme
these are admissions gates, and the score you need depends on the school. find the number before you plan the study.
timing per section is tight
people who know the content still lose points by spending too long on the section they enjoy.
what to post
a photo of the question you got wrong, or a sentence about the section that keeps costing you. the useful thing is usually not the answer — it is why the answer you chose looked right.
