help without doing it.
iykno is an app where your child posts a homework question and a verified tutor works through it with them. the tutor does not hand over an answer and leave.
what you are
actually allowing
real people, checked
tutors are verified. profiles show a photo, languages, skills and a completion rate, and your child picks who helps them. nobody is assigned.
completely ai-free
no ai writes the request and no ai answers it. a verified person does the teaching, and the point is that your child can do the next one alone.
their name stays private
tutors do not see your child's name.
no plagiarism
every delivery comes with an integrity report showing similarity and ai likelihood, so what gets handed in is understood before it is submitted.
nothing finishes without approval
work is followed as it happens, changes get asked for in chat, and each step is approved before it is done.
the difference between
help and doing it
the worry with any homework app is that it does the work and your child learns nothing. that is a fair worry, and it is the thing iykno is built against.
a tutor on iykno works the problem with the student. in the example on the home page, the tutor does not draw the mechanism — they point at the carbon the student got wrong and let them find the methyl shift themselves. that is the shape of it.
it is also why offers, ratings and completion rates are visible before anything starts. a tutor who rushes an answer does not keep a completion rate.
what it covers
homework and assignments, essays and research papers, projects and presentations, exam and quiz prep, and one on one tutoring and live classes. across maths, sciences, economics, computer science, essay writing, literature and languages.
there are study tools in the app too — flashcards, notes, quizzes, past papers, a focus timer and a gpa tracker — which work whether or not a tutor is involved.
questions you might have
most of them are answered on the faq. if something is not there, get in touch.
