where the points go
six things that decide
the score
pacing is the constraint
the maths is mostly algebra and setup, not advanced. what makes it hard is having roughly a minute a question and no room to stare.
careless errors cost more than hard questions
a sign flip on an easy question and a missed hard question cost the same. most score gains come from the easy ones you were rushing.
reading is about evidence
the question is never what you think of the passage. it is which line supports the claim. the wrong answers are usually true but unsupported.
the grammar rules are a short list
commas, subject-verb agreement, pronouns, modifiers, transitions. it repeats. learn the list cold and that section stops being a guess.
the built-in calculator goes unused
desmos is there for the whole maths section. graphing a system beats solving it by hand under time.
the test adapts
how you do early changes what comes next, so leaving blanks and rushing the opening are both expensive.
what to post
a photo of the question you got wrong, or a sentence about the section that keeps costing you. the useful thing is usually not the answer — it is why the answer you chose looked right.
verified tutors send offers with a price, a rating and a completion rate, and you pick who helps you. there are flashcards, quizzes and past papers in the app for the parts that are pure repetition, and live classes when it is faster said out loud.
