what the exam rewards
six things that
score points
they give you the equations
so the exam is not testing recall. it is testing whether you can choose the right relationship and justify why it applies.
explanations happen at particle level
a good answer talks about what particles are doing. describing the macroscopic observation back to the examiner earns very little.
stoichiometry is underneath everything
equilibrium, thermo, kinetics, titration. a shaky mole concept shows up as trouble in four different units.
justify means show the reasoning
the command words are precise. justify, explain and identify want different lengths of answer, and matching them is worth real marks.
equilibrium and thermodynamics are the heavy units
they carry the most weight and they are where conceptual gaps hide longest, because the arithmetic can still come out right.
the labs are examinable
experimental design, sources of error and what you would measure. the practical work is not a break from the exam content.
what to post
the free response you got back, the unit that is not landing, or a photo of the question. the useful part is usually why the answer you gave did not earn the point.
verified tutors send offers with a price, a rating and a completion rate, and you pick who helps you. there are flashcards, quizzes and past papers in the app for the parts that are repetition.
