where it usually goes wrong
the six that cost
the most marks
conjugation is pattern recognition
there are a small number of patterns and a list of irregulars. treating every verb as a separate memorisation is what makes it feel endless.
ser and estar
permanent against temporary is the rule everyone is taught and it breaks constantly. the more reliable framing is identity against condition.
the subjunctive is a mood, not a tense
it marks doubt, desire, emotion and unreality. english barely has it, which is why it is the wall most learners hit.
preterite against imperfect
completed action against ongoing background. the same sentence changes meaning depending on which you pick, which is exactly what the exam tests.
agreement is everywhere
gender and number ripple through articles and adjectives. small, constant, and a steady drip of lost marks.
the speaking grade is separate
you can read well and still lose a third of the course. it needs practice out loud with someone who answers back.
what to post
a photo of the problem, or a sentence about where you got stuck. set the deadline and attach anything that matters.
verified tutors send offers with a price, a rating and a completion rate, and you pick who helps you. the tutor works it with you, so the next one is yours.
